Is the home of Mavis and Peter Hanson, it lies in a quiet residential cul-de-sac on the western side of Bury St.Edmunds.
Bury St Edmunds is located on the main A14 making it an ideal stopping place for travellers from the continent as it is only 60 miles from Harwich. Many visitors come to Bury St Edmunds as it is in the centre of the beautiful area of East Anglia and as such serves as an ideal base from which to tour. There is a good Tourist Information Centre on the Angel Hill.
Our accommodation is comfortable, a single room and a twin room upstairs sharing the family bathroom.
A family room, with a double bed and a single bed on the ground floor with a showeroom and toilet attached.
This room has a patio door into the garden, where there is room to sit and relax after the day, either working or on holiday.
All the rooms have a colour television, kettle and tea / coffee maker and duvets on the beds.
We welcome our guests to share our comfortable lounge and hope they will feel at home.
Mavis provides a hearty breakfast as a good beginning to the day, also an evening meal for those who prefer not to dine out.

Our terms for 2005/6 are :
- Bed & Breakfast GBP 20.00 to GBP 25.00 per person. per night.
- Evening meal GBP 6.00 per person.

How to find us
HILLTOP is on the west side of town. Directions from A14 as follows:
Take the exit from the A14 signed “Bury St Edmunds West”. Under the Bypass go round to the Exit marked Westley Village, through the village and on to the crossroads. Turn left signed to the town, take the first right, Flemyng Rd. then first right Starre Rd. then first left Bronyon Close number 22 is close to the end on the right hand side after the bend to the left.
